Fourth stage of the research project

Now that you have described the product's features, examined customers' views, and analysed the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, you must make specific improvement proposals based on your findings, to conclude. It is not necessary to tackle absolutely all the problems that derive from the analysis, but the most relevant ones should certainly be addressed.

Present your improvement plan in a structured way, cross-referring to data from previous stages and referencing your information sources. Your suggestions may draw on multiple perspectives, e.g. sustainable development goals and environmentally-friendly policies, quality standards, experience design, human resources and corporate social responsibility, revenue management, etc.

SPECIFIC IMPROVEMENT PROPOSALS:

Here we have thought of the following improvement proposals that would allow a good operation of the residence.

- To improve the communication strategies in order to overcome other competitors, and getting more presence on social media. One example could be to make a promotional video each year in which some customers’ real experiences will be shown. This will help to improve Agora's image to the public and avoid negative reviews.

- In order to avoid competence and negative client’s review, try to get differentiated from other residence halls by offering different types of services directly oriented to the customer. For instance, do a follow-up on the stay of the clients by asking their opinions and suggestions, and in this way ensure that they are having a pleasant experience.

- To equip better the rooms. Sometimes little details like offering shampoo can make the difference between a bad and a good comment.

- To improve the information given on the website. For instance, to specify the information about the dining hall service and which menu options are offered (vegan, vegetarian…). Moreover, make a more varied menu for people that are planning to stay for a long time. Furthermore, inform clients about all the mobility possibilities to let them know that the hotel is not that far from the city center and give information about the public transport offered to encourage them to use a more sustainable way of moving.
