This project is an improvement plan based on a study of an existing tourist product that is close enough for you to investigate first-hand: a hotel, a theme park, a holiday package, etc. You must study the product, draw its real downsides and, using these downsides as a starting point, design an improvement plan. Continuous assessment students must carry it out in pairs, while final assessment students must do it individually.
The presentation must be 10-13 minutes long and will be followed by a few questions from the panel of examiners, adding up to a total of 15 minutes. Visual support is compulsory and it can be PowerPoint, Prezi etc.
Given the nature of this final project, you should choose a product that isn't too successful, so this way designing an improvement plan will be easier and more realistic. You can check out http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ or similar websites and pick a product which, in sight of the users' opinions, shows a need for improvement. Take into account that you'll need to look for 80-100 customer reviews. You can also choose a product based on your own experience (e.g. a hotel where you work or have stayed). However, you can't analyse Port Aventura, Hotel W, Ryanair, Horta maze, Carmel bunkers, Parc Güell or Tibidabo amusement park. Improvement plans for transport infrastructures aren't advisable either, since they're highly complex. Products shouldn't be repeated.

Our project is the worst buffet in a 4 stars hotel.
The hotel is a 4 star and we stayed all inclusive as the price was unbeatable. But of course, you realize that it is cheap for something, it is not a good offer, but what they offer you is lousy. Breakfast, which is usually the best in hotels, was the worst, everything from a machine with a terrible taste, with a lot of sugar, so much coffee, milk, chocolate, all from the same machine, horrible. Lunch and dinner were not spared either, the product is the worst I've ever seen, there were only a few 2-star apartments where I've eaten worse than here. For the rest, the room was fine, two beds of 1.35, the pool small, but hey, one can adapt, and the all-inclusive consisted of white drinks, with no known brand, it's almost better not to drink them, removing the beer from Barrel, which I suppose would be Estrella Damm, because it wasn't bad at all. One day I asked for a bottle of white wine and left it, it was the same one I use for cooking or worse.
The hotel is suitable for young kids, tourists, who drink any concoction, and the badder the better, to have fun, and for little money.
Our research project is one of the worst restaurants in Barcelona city.
It is called Pita House Barcelona, is it located in La Rambla 54, 08002 Barcelona, Spain.
The restaurant's position at the Barcelona restaurant TripAdvisor's racking is 7.738 / 7.745.
Pita House offers typical Spanish food, such as "pulpo a la gallega", "paella" and "calamares a la romana". It is opened from 8am till 2:00am every day.

Very dirty and incompetent, pass by, hot beers and pitchers full of dirt and when I went to the bathroom you even find crocodiles and more than 45 minutes for three beers.

Bad service, lousy food 😩😩😩😩. Not recommended. Didn't meet anything expected, the Garçon was never attentive to attend with kindness our requirements.

Our project is going to be based in Jaume I hotel*:
This hotel is located in one of the main touristic atractions of Barcelona, The Gothic Neighborhood. It is an old an fancy buildig, but the hotel has many negative reviews in Tripadvisor. The main complains are from the cuality of the bedrooms, how dirty they are and the mistreatment of the staff. Moreover, they haven´t anwered any of th bad reveiw, wich gives a very bad image. Also their web page is kind of old and needs to take care of their SEO.
This hotel has a hudge potential due to their location and we will like to help them to become a unique experience.

Our Project is Based on Renfe
Renfe Operadora is a company owned by state, attached to the Ministry of Development created in 1941. It is currently the main railway operator in Spain.
Its services are based on offering transport to both passengers and goods and its operating companies are Renfe Viajeros, Renfe Fabricación y Matenimiento, Renfe Mercancías and Renfe alquiler de Material Ferroviario.
Renfe Viajeros offers national and international train transportation services, operates over 12.000 km which 7.000 are electrified.
Within this the company offers different types of products and services: AVE (high speed) , Long Distance, Avant, Media Distancia, Cercanías, Feve, Tourist trains and international trips.
In the train luggage allowance is up to 3 packages per passenger can be taken on board and the sum of the three must not exceed 25kg. Similarly, the sum of their dimensions should not exceed 290cm.
Renfe train company offers different rates and discounts: children under 4 years free, children between 4 and 13 years can enjoy a 40% discount, large family discounts and gold card availability. There is a 20% discount on round trips and between 20% and 40% if traveling in a group. 0% sales commission if the purchase is made through the web or the app.
Bicycles or scooters can be transported as hand luggage except on AVE, Larga Distancia and Avant trains which must be folded and treated as hand luggage.
Small pets can be transported: dogs, cats, ferrets and birds. It is possible to travel with an animal but have to paid a fee, except if it is a guide dog, which can travel for free.

Waka is a night club located in Sabadell, a city located in the suburbian area of Barcelona. Their company policy allows minors older than 16 on Fridays, while the entrance is restricted to people on their legal age during the rest of the weekend.
The main reason why we have chosen this club for our project is the amount of reports that they have been receiving throughout these last years due to several reasons. Alarming cases of violence, racism and sexual assault have turned this club into the main focus of their sector.

We are doing Hotel Festa Brava, it is a 3 star hotel located in Lloret de Mar. The hotel have a rating of 2.5 in tripadvisor and a 3 in google reviews. Most of the reviews left by clients are 1 star reviews complaining about many things. The most recurring complain is about the food, we also have a complaint that says that there’s no food prepared for babies. Also there is a lot of complains of the building conditions, and the poor cleaning of the rooms and pool. The good part of the hotel is that is very good located, close to the beach and the party zone.
We chose this hotel because even it has just bad reviews it have a very big potential. We will try to make this hotel the main choice for the tourists when they visit Lloret de Mar

The restaurant has a rating of 2 stars out of 5. They open everyday from 12:00 to 22:30.
Some of the raitings this restaurant has are:
-Acceptable service but the food leaves a lot to be desired in addition to very high prices that do not correspond to the quality. For example... Iberian ham that looks like it's from a supermarket and for the price (8€ almost 9) of the tapa it could at least be cut. Or do not put the Iberian
-Creo que en la peor carcel de mundo se come mejor y hay mejor trato que aqui y es menos cutron
-En mi vida me han tratado peor y me han dado tan mala comida, sucio, lento y borde! Sólo volvería si tuviese diarrea y no tiraría de la cadena. Pagar por eso que llaman comida es una estafa. Ojalá lo clausuren!
We wil try to improve this restaurant by making some changes in the menu,improving the service have a good hygiene, and change the decaarotion.
