As you know, this project is an improvement plan based on a study of an existing tourist product which is close enough for you to investigate first hand: a hotel, a theme park, a holiday package, etc. You must study the product, draw its real downsides and, using these downsides as a starting point, design an improvement plan. Continuous assessment students must carry it out in pairs, while final assessment students must do it individually.
The presentation must be 10-13 minutes long and will be followed by a few questions from the panel of examiners, adding up to a total of 15 minutes. Visual support is compulsory and it can be PowerPoint, Prezi etc.
Given the nature of this final project, you should choose a product that isn't too successful, so this way designing an improvement plan will be easier and more realistic. You can check out http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ or similar websites and pick a product which, in sight of the users' opinions, shows a need for improvement. Take into account that you'll need to look for 80-100 customer reviews. You can also choose a product based on your own experience (e.g. a hotel where you work or have stayed). However, you can't analyse Port Aventura, Hotel W, Ryanair, Horta maze, Carmel bunkers, park Güell or Tibidabo amusement park. Improvement plans for transport infrastructures aren't advisable either, since they're highly complex. Products shouldn't be repeated.

FYRE FEST DESCRIPTION
Back in 2017, entrepreneur and multi-millionaire Billy McFarland alongside rapper Ja Rule decided to create a music festival in the Bahamas based around luxury to promote an app they were working on. The idea was to offer an exclusive experience in an exclusive environment, with world-renowned artists and an eco-friendly accommodation.
However, having little to no experience in event organization, everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. Despite having a very large budget and many powerful investors, money was wasted in models to promote the festival, leasing an entire island, countless parties, and other things completely unrelated to the festival.
In addition to the financial issues, the organization of the festival was disastrous. They only had a couple months to carry out a year’s worth of work and had sold out on all tickets before even knowing the island’s capacity, thus the outcome was quite predictable.
Upon the attendants’ arrival, the infrastructure still had to be built, the supposed luxury villas were now disaster relief tents and the gourmet food had suddenly turned into a cheese sandwich with a couple lettuce leaves, among other things. ´
In conclusion, what promised to be the “Biggest event in the next 10 years” turned out to be a world-wide known fraud, still made fun of today.

Our product is going to be the VIP Experience which it would be a package of ticket, accommodation and some advantages during the Fyre Fest. It will include the flights from the origin city of the customer to the Fyre Fest destination and the flights to return. Moreover, they will have advantages such as front row tickets for the festival and meet and greet with one of the singers or dj’s, access to VIP areas, no queues, VIP package of drinks...
Regarding to the accommodation, the VIP experience allows you to have a Villa in the island that will include all the amenities needed. The Villa's capacity is for 6 people and has private swimming pool, private chef, a private transfer to the festival, catering, 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
Finally, as Fyre Festival take place in a paradisiac island the customers taht purchase the VIP experience will have access to a private beach and a yatch.

These functional flats and studios are located just off the prestigious Calle Serrano, offering spacious and independent accommodation in the commercial heart of Madrid.
The hotel is one of the worst rated on various online booking platforms. It has received many complaints about different aspects, but the most repeated is for hygiene. Despite the fact that many people have stayed in it, it is rated as a very dirty place.
It offers Wifi in rooms and lobby, air conditioning, television, self-service laundry, swimming pool, parking, cafeteria, and bar.
The Blue Sense is a great base in Madrid's Salamanca district, an important business area next to the large Paseo de la Castellana. It has good connections to the public transport network, such as the Nuñez de Balboa and Gregorio Marañón metro station, which offers ease of movement around the city.

CALDEA
Caldea is a spa center located in Andorra, considered the biggest of its kind in southern Europe. Its aim is to promote and offer wellness and wellbeing to the mind and the body.
For that, the services offered could be classified in two categories: those mostly focused on leisure for friend groups, young couples, and families with children, and those focused on a more relaxing experience for adults to unwind and enjoy. It has different spaces for each of those services.
Despite offering many packages, we will be focusing on the basic morning ticket to Inúu, the +16 area of the spa. It is 60,50€ per person and includes a 4-hour pass to the Inúu, the Thermoludic and the Origins spa areas. There, clients will have access to the indoor and outdoor lagoons, the hydromassage showers, the bubbled bed space and to many workshops and activities, as well as the gym and the guided classes. Slippers, a bathrobe and a towel are also provided.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF VUELING AIRLINES
Vueling Airlines is a Spanish airline created in 2004, based in Barcelona. This company is wholly owned by IAG (a Spanish-English holding company resulting from the merger alliance of the airlines Iberia and British Airways.
It is the largest airline in Spain in terms of number of destinations (148) and fleet size (123 aircraft), and the second largest in terms of number of passengers carried within Spain.
Unlike domestic airlines, there is a fee for each checked bag which substantially increases the price of the ticket. This fee is lower if it’s paid in advance with the ticket than at check-in. Although it is a low-cost carrier, it flies only to the main airports of the cities it serves.
Unfortunately in recent years, Vueling has gone from being one of the best low cost airlines in Europe to become one of the most criticized airlines by its customers. This is mainly due to the continuous number of delays per year and it's poor incident situation management.
